Pocket Survival Kit

This kit goes in my shirt pocket, whenever I'm in the outdoors and away from my vehicle.  It's packed in a gasketed, watertight, aluminum box I bought in an outdoors store which caters to fly fisherman, a rugged and waterproof container.  The box is 3.25 inches by 5 inches by 1.25 inches.

Since it's on my person, I'll have it even if a bear drags my pack away.  The best gear in the world won't do you a bit of good if you don't have it when you need it.

Fire starter cube
Single-edged razor blade
Waterproof matches
6 feet adhesive tape (rolled around matchstick)
Water-treatment tablets
Button compass
8 small fishhooks
8 split-shot sinkers
4 butterfly closures
2 small bandaids
4 regular bandaids
P-38 can opener (the kind which GI's used to get with C-rations)
Wire saw
50' monofilament fishing line
Magnesium match fire starter
2 condoms (unlubricated) for water storage
